Yeap, i did it. I spent the last night in front of an Apple-Store. My original plan was to go to munich at about 4:00 am. But at midnight, there where already about 400 people waiting. So i decided to drive to Augsburg and arrived at around 2 am. I was on position 60 and everything went very fine until one guy of the apple-staff came out and wanted to tell us something. Then suddenly everything was a big mess and all people wanted to get into the shopping center with the Apple-store. Unfortunately we had to wait an other hour but now i n a big mess. I think i lost some places. Some of the guys, who where in front of me before, have lost many places and stood way far behind me now. All in all i think, i was on position 90 now. About 250 more people behind me. At 7:00am the shopping center opened and we could get to the entrance of the apple store. 8:00 am i got my two reservation tickets and the apple store opened. The first ten people got a big applause from the whole apple staff. I used the next to hours to make some friends and snap the qeue in the front and back of me. Even the cleaning lady was laughing at us :D (see the photo). Then, two hours later at exactly 10:00 am, i held two iPhone 5 in my hands. One with 32GB for me and one with 16GB for a colleague. both white. All in all 8 hours of waiting. Incredibly cold outside, nice and cosy inside. And hell yeah, this phone is soooo damn sexy. Totally worth it. I’ll definitely be doing the same thing again at the iPad 4 launch and for the nex iPhone for sure. Was too much fun and too much overall excitement ;)
